This is such an important lesson for me. As a human being I am often convinced that I have the strength and whit to do just about anything. I do believe that to a small degree. However, when it comes to doing the work, I’ve realize that the “Together Everyone Achieves More” phrase it completely true.
Isn’t that the purpose of the church after all? We were not created to go after life alone. Here I am , just 40 hours from a fundraising event that I thought I planned by myself… But the truth is, so many people have offered ideas, wisdom, and physical help that it’s humbling.
When people ask me who is going with me on this trip, I generally respond “I’m flying solo this time”… However, that couldn’t be further from the truth.
