It astounds me how much joy comes from simply starting something. I’m scared, absolutely. Yet, to see something come together from near and from far is encouraging. I was reading this book called “the circle maker” it’s about prayer. Throughout the book, the author shared one simple sentence: Pray like it depends on God, work like it depends on you.

Now, honestly I’m great at the working piece. When I want something I’ll stay up late to pursue it, but its often the prayer piece that is the struggle.

This journey to Ukraine… I’m encouraged by the folks who have said they will pray alongside me. Perhaps, I ask that they pray for my desire to pray more fervently, frequently and humbly.
